Per the donate page, gifts above $500 will receive a receipt. The current tax law would indicate that the figure should be $250.

It is per: [url]http://www.irs.gov/publications/p526/ar02.html#en_US_publink1000229833[/url] that 250 is the minimum level that requires ack.
