I guess I'm more geared toward the subproject goals, right now, so I'm less inclined to hang onto these to see where they head. I did keep 802284 for now and have it running on a 24/7 machine, but if I keep too many, I won't be helping the subproject as much. Maybe at some point I'll pick something back up, if no one else has. Maybe I should put an older (slower) machine onto those "hopefuls"... |
Done with 800922, 118 digits, 2^3*3

Do you have a script doing this stepping or are you just checking them manually when they finish an index? I asked if a similar activity would be of interest for the aliperl.pl script project and it didn't seem to be. That one would have moved several sequences one digit at a time, but I might see if there would be a way to add one index at a time processing if there is an interest. Of course that might be better as a different script rather than overloading the one we have. |

do you want either cause i would be interested in 1 or both of them? Unreserving 802950 reserving 804192 and 804492 |

A simple loop over sequences done once that gave a count on which iteration of the loop might be of use. Right now 'runmulti' outputs prog.txt, with 'first run', 'second run' (using a simple echo) so I can see how far it has gotten. It breaks down at 20 however when it goes back to 1. Note that I have been thinking of trying a different approach which is to modify aliqueit.exe - stopping at a certain number of digits, or when a cofactor is a certain size (so stop post ecm). More complex would be to stop at a certain number of digits only if it has a driver (so stopping at 100 digits with driver, and 110 without would be possible). |

If you notice a few lines added to 804462, that was me playing without reserving yet. Not that I want that one. I was just getting ready to take it because it was one of the last in that group. |

aliperl actually didn't start out to be what it is. Its inception was from my work trying to complete a bootable CD/USB aliqueit package. I have a running USB version, but I'm not able to use the new factmsieve python script yet. I'm also still working on the CD version. |
