edit2: just noticed there are 5610667 things in the database's queue a lot!![/quote] I have noticed that the db considers all the larger factors submitted by aliqueit to be "probably" prime when first uploaded. Are all the factors we have been uploading a good portion of the queue? I've probably added several hundred in the last few days. I can just imagine how many factors there are coming in from all the contributors. |

I think it does a PRP test immediately upon submission, but will wait until it gets a relatively free moment to do a primality proof. It seems that certain automatic jobs like that are being automatically prioritized to some degree in the queue (i.e., they take precedence over the backlog of user-requested jobs), and in my experience they tend to get done within a few hours (though lately it seems like it might be a day or two). I would imagine that Aliquot sequences contribute to much of this load; I can't imagine what else would produce quite that many new factors. But, at least they get cleaned up in reasonably short order, so they aren't just going on the pile that will never get done (and will surely be thrown out eventually since there's no other way I can think of to deal with it). |
unreserving 801402 at i=712, size 119, 2^3. This one has no driver, so a interesting sequence is up for grabs.
