I'm still working on S1020, but only have a single core dedicated to it. There are still over 7m k remaining thru n=282. This is a particularly nasty base because sieving doesn't remove as many terms due to 1020 being divisible by 2, 3, and 5.

S639 and S908 completed to n=200000 and released.
1174*639^123735+1 36*908^146460+1 are the primes found in the range. The residues are attached. |
S977 is an interesting base. The largest known prime for this base per this project is for n=18615. No other primes have been found between 18615 and 110000. Statistically that seems unlikely. I intend to search to n=200000. I would be surprised if no primes are found before I finish the range.

ARG! Two of the subranges I have for S1020 are messed up. My laptop spontaneously rebooted and the files (unbeknownst to me) were corrupted. I have lost about two months of work for each of those subranges.

Let me bet its win10, there is a bug in the volume shadow copy, I have disabled it because of random Bluescreens. You can check in event log whats happened. |

I did look in the event log, but nothing popped out at me regarding the cause. BTW, it was an actual shutdown, not a blue screen. I wonder if my employer did something to trigger it. |

There were a couple of "UPDATE NOW!" things from Microsoft in the past week to address major exploits. Maybe related to that? |

I am fairly good at installing updates as soon as I am aware of them. I had no notice that anything had been updated and that I was required to restart. Note that this just shut down Windows. It didn't restart, which is what normally happens after updates are installed. |
