2*578^129468-1 is prime! (357582 decimal digits, P = 4) Time : 3685.562 sec.
I guess this kicks out this k from R578 (if not kicked out meantime, I didn't follow R578, and it wasn't reserved by me, just a lucky hit from a side project testing 2*b^n-1 for some bases b) |
2*578^129468-1 is prime! (357582 decimal digits, P = 4) Time : 3685.562 sec.

Thus, you should update the reservations in http://www.noprimeleftbehind.net/crus/Riesel-conjecture-reserves.htm (for R581, R992 (only for k=2) and R1019) Although I don't know the sieve limit :-) ) |
I am not sieving, I am CLLR-ing them. Sieving is done long ago, up to n=200k and b=2048, there are right now 20 bases left, all testing in the same time, in 20 cores, currently n's between 120k and 140k. I did not make a reservation with Gary because right now I am under his limits, I started from scratch and re-checked all n's from the beginning. [STRIKE]His numbers are somewhere over 200k already, and 581, if I am not mistaken, is at 400k. I still have a lot of work until I reach these numbers, and I am not so sure I will not get bored by that time.[/STRIKE]
Mistake (I clicked your link), if the numbers there are right, then 581 is at 200k, 992 is (only) at 100k, and 1019 is at 400k. Therefore you can consider 2*992^n-1 reserved by me to 200k. Currently testing n=125676. Nothing found below, from scratch. |
