535*256^109243+1 is prime because 535*2^873944+1 is prime. That prime was found by PrimeGrid. That leaves 831 as the only k remaining for S256. Also note that since PrimeGrid has tested base 2 for k=831 to n=1000000 that it has tested k=831 for base 256 to the equivalent of n=125000.
Hum...good catch. That one was found in the last couple of months and I didn't catch it at the time.

Another one for the 1k list.

S467 is tested to n<=250K and released; no primes.

It is recommend that if you take a base that you take all remaining k for that base.

grueny 2011-07-20 13:13

ok. i take all remaining k for riesel base 253.

Great! Best of luck to you in finding some primes. You appear to be new to the project, so if you have any questions (software to use, etc.), feel free to ask.

Hi Grueny. Welcome to CRUS. Question: How far do you plan on testing?

In case you are not aware of it, there is a sieve file on the reservations page. If you plan to test to n>50K, it will probably need more sieving.

Good luck!

Serge,

Do you have a results file for this?

Batalov 2011-07-20 17:54

Yes, I just have to put the results together from two computers. One is down for a repair. I'll email soon.
