I put this in the wrong thread. I've been sieving for n up to 1e6. That means that the upper bound of p for the sieve is close to 1.5e14. I have never sieved any conjecture so deeply.
Apparently 1.5e14 was not deep enough. It seems that 3e14 would have been better. The tests at about n=500000 take more than 12 hours each on a non-AVX CPU and almost 8 on an AVX CPU. |
I'm currentlly preparing my next big project. Therefor to avoid people working on what I've been working on for the past weeks, I'm going to make an official reservation:
Reserving base 383 from n=100K to n=200K The Riesel side has 8 k's The Sierpinski side has 44 k's a total of 52 k's remain for the entire base  Testing will begin as soon as my R16 reservation is completed. |
S304 completed to n=600000 with no primes found. Continuing.
|
S317, S319
I would like to reserve
S317 to 200K, and S319 to 100K |
R348
R348 is complete to n=25k
581 k values remained after running the new bases script to n=2.5k. Another 338 primes were found up to n=25k, leaving 243 k's remaining. Results emailed, base released |
S317, S319
S317 completed to 200K, and
S319 completed 100K. No primes found. Residues sent. bases released. |
Mathew has completed R306 to n=25K. 111 primes were found for n=5K-25K; 122 k's remain.
He is also reserving R430 to n=25K and extending his reservation on S430 to n=150K. |
S316 complete to 25k, releasing. Gary- working on uploading res files 11.7k + via Google Drive.
|
Reserving the untested base R262 to n=25k
|
Taking S470, S380, and S376 to n=100000.
|
Reserving S263 to at least n=250k. (Currently at n=222k)
