R331 is at 18,900. There are 245,000 tests remaining through 25k. 861 k values remain in the sieve file. Q? for Gary-are you going to want the residues/results files for all of this, or will just a list of primes work?

P.S. continuing, laptop is returning to full dedication.

No, I do not need the results for n<25K on any base. Primes and k's remaining would be nice but if you only send the primes, that's OK.

Mathew has completed R352 and S360 to n=50K; 6 primes were found for n=25K-50K; # of k's remaining and primes shown below; all bases are released.

remaining:
R352: 4 primes; 17 k's remaining
S360: 2 primes; 8 k's remaining
primes:
123*352^36488-1
2216*352^40961-1
1523*352^43086-1
291*352^46965-1
286*360^27214+1
Using the PrimeGrid sieve files I have pulled together the remaining n to be tested for k's 659, 807, 1808, 3480, 5768, 7088, 7968, and 10154 up to n=4000000. There are just over 71000 tests in this file. This is intended to save users from having to sieve on their own. Hopefully I did this one correctly.
Several problems:

k=113 base 2 has been searched n=3M, i.e. k=1808 base 256 to n=375K. Your file starts from n=3.8M base 2.

k=659 base 2 has been searched to n=1.2M, i.e. k=659 base 256 to n=150K. Your file starts from n=1M base 2. (I will remove n=1M-1.2M.)

k=721 base 2 has been searched to n=1.2M, i.e. k=5768 base 256 to n=150K. Your file starts from n=1.5M base 2.

Here is what we need added to the file:
k=113 for n=3M-3.8M
k=721 for n=1.2M-1.5M

I will post it after I get these ranges.

One more question: Are you aware that there are many more k's that could be pulled from the Primegrid sieve file? I'm just curious why you only pulled together a few of them. It helps us a lot but there are also k=1695, 2237, 2715, 2759, 3147, 4377, 4559, 5502, 5903, 6213, 6332, 7130, 7335, 7890, 7913, 8087, 8334, 8765, 9428, and 10110 that could be pulled from the file.

Thanks.

I'm not certain why I missed those ranges of n, but I'll fix them. As for the other k, I only looked at the ones listed on the reservation page. I didn't think about the ones on the "base 256 remain" page. I'll work on those as well.

Here are the missing n for k=113 and k=721. I'll get to the other k as soon as I can, but I don't know when that will be.

Just to clarify: On the reservations page, I only list individual k's when only part of the k's for a base are either directly or indirectly being worked on by other project(s) -or- if someone has reserved only one or a few k's or a subset range of k's for the base. Base 25 is the most glaring example. Bases 256 and 625 are others. For base 256, the k's shown on the reservations page are only those k's indirectly being worked on by RPS and NPLB.

The way that you can tell that there are more k's than just those shown on the reservations page is that at the end of the list of individual k's, you'll see an (other k's) box, which indicates that you have to go to the k's remaining page to see them all. Also the count of k's remaining on the reservations page will not match the number of individual k's shown.

I'm sure that is clear as mud. :smile:
