Ever tried wanking?
I am tired of arguing with a metal midget.
If you think you can do a better job David, why don't you create a coordination site like I have? Why didn't you two years ago? Why don't you buy a GPU, and start doing the TFing yourself the way you think it should be done? All we ever hear from you are illogical complaints and whining about what should have happened. I have better things to do than to try to justify to you what everyone else seems to agree is a working methodology.

This. If you want something to change, there are two reasonable options. You can either: 1) Do something about it yourself. 2) Make your arguments in a logical and coherent manner. You (David) either lack the mental ability or desire (or both) to do either of these. So you are stuck with what we have. Perhaps if you spent more time trying to do something about these 'wrongs' that are being done to you, and less time calling people names and searching for youtube links and getting banned, you would get whatever change you want done. But some people would rather feel slighted by the world than actually make the change they allegedly want made.
What do I get? Arseholes. |
I assume the ambiguity as to what's damaged is intentional. Either the cretins or the cheese wheels.
Need to Google cretins. I've heard the word and know it's an insult, but other than that, no idea.

Oh my, oh my, something is wrong with you... what's happening? you forget the youtube link..
After Michael Palin's accidental bicycle accident, he reassured his rescuer with the assurance "Seems like my Mars Bar has only sustained minor damage". If you're looking for Cretins, you've come to the right place. D |
The truth is most people who are doing TFing are doing so in order to find the most factors possible. ... I would argue that we do have it together.
We agree on so many things. GPUing adequately before an exponent is ever assigned (73+bits >58M), is generally agreed. If finding factors is a prime motivator, then stay clear of 58 - 100M(say). This work goes hand in hand with LL tests to FIND PRIMES. If I receive an LL assignment which could use 3 bits more GPUing, I will ask a GPUer to do a few more bits, and he will happily do that (and more) with a 3/70 chance of finding a factor. If it only needs one more bit, I would be embarrassed to ask, and probably just return the exponent. Do you see why inadequate "one bit at a time" ahead of the wavefront is responsible for loads (the majority) of new LL assignments being TFed to one or two bits lower than they should be? There was no need for me to create a website. All I was suggesting was that Primenet should create a "TFstraighttotheappropriatelevel" worktype made available only to GPUs for the 2M region immediately ahead of the wavefront, and get 200/day done. Spidy is doing a "patch-up" job which by now should be completely unnecessary. David |

You (David) either lack the mental ability or desire (or both) to do either of these.
Or provoke geniuses like yourself. Ernst has advised me that this third post in 24 hours will automatically end up in the the "proper" useless threads posts. WTF. That thread makes for seriously illogical/entertaining reading, if only due to screwing up any context. PMs are excepted, so take me on if you think you're hard enough:smile: David PS Whether or not I lack mental ability, your post is well out of order here. As for desire... ain't that a streetcar? PPS were you you referring to metal(sic) ability? |
Gun Crime
Wouldn't reducing the "Right to hold arms" at least diminish this homicide a tadge?
As it is I'll be reduced to throwing myself under a train. Yes I know the driver may never appreciate he was doing me a favo(u)r. Hope he gets over it. Occupational hazard. OK. Put this in the "Useless pieces of shit" thread. When I'm dead and gone" D PS Beware the British invasion Mr Minuteman |
Great work guys
Leaving even less tempting work for would-be GIMPS participants.
Pick on exponents your own size, big boy. |

I vaguely remember you can use "subc reg, reg" to save the sign-extended carry (actually I think it saves the negated carry).
"Snap" to the first point. As to the 2nd, I forgot to remember to forget D x |
