apologies for being so slow i keep getting distracted
there have been drivers that increase slowly, downdrivers etc. which has also taken time

Sorry!!!
I agree there isnt a huge usefulness in me having mod powers anymore, but it would be useful during periods when you or Mini-Geek are away. I can then make more of an effort to help out hopefully. It is very useful if you post in the holidays thread when you go away else i might not notice. I will make an effort in the next few weeks to see how hard i find it to find time to do it. At the beggining of the school year i found it too hard to find time but the beggining of the school year is one of the busiest times. Plus the project has quietened a bit.

What I do is, if the sequence was only reserved through a subproject, then I don't list it as released anywhere. If it was reserved through the 'main project' ("aliquot sequence reservations" thread), then I list it in Released Sequences.

makes sense
i presume if it gets moved from a subproject to the main reservation thread then it gets put in the Released Sequences.

Actually, I gave the instruction only to put sequences below 110 digits in five.txt in the reservable sequences list in the top post. It seems Mini-Geek has disobeyed me. At some point I will ask Clifford to hand over the files for those sequences and any others we don't have the data for.

Mini-Geek 2010-02-20 12:27

Sorry. I didn't realize that some on that list were above 110 digits when I took the list and stripped it of all the data except the sequence numbers (for easier copy/pasting), and I missed this part's significance:
When posting sequences from a new 5k range, take the ones below 110 digits from this file
I've got my file fixed now though, so I'll only get the right ones now. (assuming I don't need to worry about that list updating/changing)
