Photography itself has long been recognised as an art form....but from my relatively low-resolution monitor, I need some help distinguishing his paintings from photographs....

Even on my high res monitor it is difficult. In one of his paintings(I followed the link in the article), there are a couple of $20 bills, and those were about the only thing I could point to and say "Yep, that was painted'.

I have a 23 incher. I gave up after the first ten photographs-I-mean-paintings.

did you try this process:


1) open image in new tab
2) zoom in to 300% resolution
3) screen shot
4) go back to step one with new image until depth you want is reached.

only problem I see about this is it might affect the underlying photo as to obfuscate the true picture.
