I'm told pepsi or coca-cola is also good at dissolving things...especially copper alloys like the US penny.
So is stomach acid...which is why it doesn't really bother anyone.

Now, as for that vending machine...that's not the right application for a see-thru display with low contrast..and what's with the real keypad to the lower left?...a windshield is...or a surface-mount repair station where different parts of something get themselves color coded for the operator.
