Not to bust your balloon, but actually, as I recall, ewmayer was the first to surpass his record, probably at least a year ago; not long after that, a number of others followed. See [url=http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=9445]this thread[/url] for the whole discussion.

Mally has the posts per year record.

Mally's number may never change, but some of
our opinions of him might.

I may or may not now have the record for posts in a day.
It's not my reason for my contribution burst.
I just don't have daily access to an internet computer,
so I do what I can when I can.

Not at all what I'm doing or ever was.

I only post in Puzzles primarily, and there only to start threads.

Also, I like the Lounge and Soapbox, though there I usually just respond
in other Mersenner's threads. Sometimes I start a thread there.

I've contributed to both Math and Misc Math but just a bit.

The Forum Feedback is interesting, so I've made some suggestions there.

Otherwise, my posts are wherever (and not in every thread) I find
something related to math and/or gimps that I can easily, productively
respond to.

Number of posts just means I'm busy today. Their content is all good,
in context.

I was thinking about spamming the forum at one time but it's pointless most have me on there ignore list already (or did), plus I didn't want to copy and paste so it would be kinda hard for me unless I typed only one letter.

Have the forum gods been angered? I notice that the post count has been removed from users posts.

It is still accessible from the profile page under statistics though.

You'd be doing a good deed by resurrecting say five of Mally's
best posts or threads and introducing them back to us in
this thread, say one at a time or all together with url links.
