Ok. Just update the missing files...lol

pinhodecarlos 2012-05-14 19:30

Started 683_73_minus1 on the laptop, LA less than 8 hours to go.
I can then take 3543791_31_minus1.
2069_67_minus1 is schedule to finish tomorrow morning, 2083_67_minus1 will be next.

683_73_minus1 done, started 3543791_31_minus1.

pinhodecarlos 2012-05-16 11:26

2083_67_minus1 will be done tonight (~11 pm GMT).
Is 691_73_minus1 ready for post-processing?!

debrouxl 2012-05-16 17:14

~41.5M raw relations received and an estimated ~7M raw relations remaining... it might be too early for 691_73_minus1 with 29-bit LPs.
But it might also work, as SNFS difficulty 207 tasks can also be sieved with 28-bit LPs tasks (that's what I usually did until the current series), which usually need ~30M raw relations.

Tried one hour ago without success. What do you gain by sieving as a 29-bit LP task instead of 28-bit one? Now, you probably will need 55M raw relations to build a matrix against the ~30M raw relations as you mentioned by running as 28-bit LP task.

I'm amazed by the fact that an Intel core i7 2630QM at 2.0 GHz with 8 threads clearly beats an Intel core i5 750@3.6 GHz with 4 cores and consumes a lot less when running msieve. I can't imagine how fast are the new IB processors. I think it's time to retire my core i5...

pinhodecarlos 2012-05-17 20:59

691_73_minus1 is ready for post-processing. I won't run it but LA phase will take less than 24 hours.

Where are the .fb files?

I'll take 60001_223 as soon as a .fb file is posted.
It appears the latest numbers are missing the .fb file.
