Job is running well it is progressing at about 5% per day (PC runs for 12 hours a day) it is currently up to 19.9 % with 186 hours 48 minutes remaining. I am running this on three cores as it seems to run a lot slower on 6.
I am currently using the msieve.largeblocks V 1.50 I just noticed version 1.51 is out is it worth me upgrading if I do do I use the same commands, will I notice a major speed increase and can I switch applications part way through a job?

V1.51 has no changes to the linear algebra, so no difference. The latest trunk has experimental changes that make the LA much faster (fivemack is seeing 50% speedups on an i7 with 4 threads). The on-disk formats have not changed, so you can switch at any time; the command line may be a little different depending on what you are doing.
