Can't answer Jarod. I will again back away from NFS@Home post-processing for 3 months or more. You need to ask Greg or Lionel about smaller tasks.
All the best with your future of endeavours. See you on board's again around Christmas time. I may send an email to Greg tomorrow. All you never know he may answer in this Form overnight (New Zealand time)

Likely not in the short term. 14 hours postprocessing is quite a small number for NFS@Home.

Thanks for your prompt response Greg. I've had a brief look on Google trying to find information on how the time is worked out to post process a number so that I can determine what numbers I would like to do, I wasn't able to find any basic information. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Are there any numbers that will take about 2 days (55 hours) to post process coming up?

I had a brief look through the numbers that I have post processed and I found the one that I'd had done on Christmas Day. Toke less than 6 hours to do the complete job. I have attached of the log if anybody is interested in having a look.
The Haswell crashed during burn-in. Larger heat sink arriving today. ETA for L1812 factors Wednesday morning.
Larger heat sink proved too large to fit case. Acquiring medium-sized heat sink at Maplin's on the way to the office. ETA now Friday morning.

Anyone wants a C251?

(103^21)^6 + 126*(126^17)^6 = 5*127*C251

XYYXF 2013-06-07 11:41

Or maybe a C250?

(2^104)^6 + 15842*(89^21)^6 = 2*3*C250

Sorry folks for the delay in L1379. I finally got it downloaded after several attempts (problems all at my end). I have two copies saved and it has gone through filtering. Unfortunately, it can't build a matrix on my 8 GB box. I've ran other 31-bit jobs before but this one must just be over the limit.

L1298 has 42 hours remaining so L1379 will be further delayed. I'm afraid to start another number in case I run into a similar problem.

Edit: I should get another 8 GB since it looks like 31-bit will be the norm going forward.

Do you have another computer available, or should I run it here?

Andrey (XYYXF): your numbers are certainly a bit too large for the 14e siever, even with sextic polynomials...
