Thanks Rich! Anyone for F1121?
|
I'll try F1121, I just hope it won't be too lengthy.

Thanks Lionel! Anyone up for 55559_224? It's a smaller 30-bit run.
|
Any idea what would cause the following error that I had on hundreds of tasks?
Stderr output <core_client_version>7.0.28</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> too many exit(0)s </message> ]]> |

Stderr output <core_client_version>7.0.28</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> too many exit(0)s </message> ]]>[/QUOTE] I'm not sure, but a boinc faq suggests the following. Is it still happening? For some reason, the latest checkpoint wasn't written to disk, perhaps due to a corruption of the task, the disk or because the directory was locked (possibly due to an anti virus scan or anti spyware scan). It will try to write and read the checkpoint, but goes stuck in an ever lasting loop trying to do so. Exiting BOINC and restarting it may help. Rebooting the computer may also help. usually though, the task will error out after you restarted. |
Thanks for the info. I shut everything down and restarted the laptop, and it's working fine now. May have been a Windows issue since the laptop hadn't been rebooted in a couple of weeks.
