Cofactor of F1345 could be a nice target.
The polynomial is a quartic which should be propped with uneven fb lims - the patterns for large quartics are easily found in older quartic projects. Then, maybe, F1405 and F1415 - using the same poly. All three have no known factors and are well-ECMd.

EDIT: P.S. Because there was no interest, I'll run F1345 myself.
It's not that I'm not interested, the thing is that Greg is the only one with access to the management pages for lasievee (v5) and he is rather busy at the moment.

I also emailed the factorizations of L1277, L1279 and L1908 to the Lucas/Fibonacci pages (mersennus.net) and asked him to credit them with NFS@home. They were completed a few months ago by NFS@home, but not yet listed on the page.

Yul, please also mail Marin (of mersennus.net) once the factorization of L1291 is complete, he is not following this thead.
Would I be correct in assuming that today's lasieved 31 bit (~210M relations) numbers take significantly longer to postprocess (e.g. 7 days vs 1 days) than the numbers that were common here a few months ago (mostly 30 bit, IIRC)? I had to lower my target density (from 120 to 110), and was surprised at how long the ETA for this number was, until I realized that most of my earlier postprocs had much fewer relations.
A 12.7M matrix with target_density=110 is comparable to my latest 14e NFS post-processing. There are occasional outliers with more relations/smaller matrices:

OK, I've switched to aiming for 230M relations for the SNFS(245ish) numbers, in the hope this will make the matrices a bit smaller. GW_12_226 (with 220M) is a 14M matrix which will take me around six days on 4 cores i7/4770.

The GNFS numbers are using low-balled relation targets (to the point that I'd not expect target densities much over 70 to work) but even a C170 GNFS is a good deal easier than an SNFS245; I'm trying to get a better idea of where the 31/32 crossover is.

pinhodecarlos 2015-01-27 11:04

Good job guys. In the meantime I already been asked for a new NFS@Home challenge (SETI.USA team). Is it possible to add a stats page inside NFS@Home page for challenges? We can easily make one 15e challenge...just a thought.

Carlos

pinhodecarlos 2015-01-27 16:42

They want a BOINC challenge, that's it. They don't care which application (siever).

xilman 2015-02-19 21:05

Just added GC_4_409 and GC_8_264 with difficulty 249 and 241 respectively to the 14e queue.

All the other SNFS targets under S250 are either reserved to NFS@Home, reserved to Rob Hooft for pre-testing or under a t50 on ECM.

The following are presently all 15 unreserved GNFS possibilities < C165 with at least a t50 done, some of them well over a t55. Unfortunately no polynomials are yet available but perhaps a gpu-day each would suffice. The gpu-msieve here is presently broken following a CUDA upgrade but I'll try to mend it again. Even if successful, the polynomials won't be ready in time for the Gadarene rush so anyone else who would like to join in is most welcome!
