Determing What Is Available
There doesn't seem to be any order in this forum. How can one tell what's taken and what's not?
There needs to be a numerical shorted page somewhere. |

I looked at the page you pointed to before. Everything shown there is available? No little pieces taken out by anyone?
Example: 86.65 to 86.9 from 86.0-87.0M 63 |
It's best to take a look here:
http://www.mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=11308 Just need to make sure that the "Exclude currently assigned exponents" option is always checked to avoid stepping on anyone's toes. So a query for the range you mentioned may look something like this: http://v5www.mersenne.org/report_factoring_effort/?exp_lo=86650000&exp_hi=86900000&bits_lo=0&bits_hi=99&txt=1&exassigned=1&B1=Get+Data |
Okay, after looking around and a bit and some experimenting, I think I've got it. The exclusion of assignments is most important.
