... Robert! Just curious, how did you find out about us?...
To extend a short story long:
It started with an article of prime numbers in wikipedia, factorization and Mersenne primes. Found GIMPS and joined (2 weeks before the 10M record), hunted for a new record (and price money) with LL tests. Changed to LL-D test, got tired again and changed to ECM than trial factoring of Mersenne numbers. Found this great database and did some random numbers using: http://www.alpertron.com.ar/ECM.HTM. Started understanding, compiling and using of gmp, msieve, ecm... c-programs. Found that "curious" aliquot sequences. Found "aliqueit" package (after I've created my own c-program, slow but had worked).
And finally found this forum, joined and wondering about the ETA, do we have to do it twice:wink:?

No , but as you can see from the milestones list, the journey to 510k was slow and painful. I'm only taking the average time per 5k range and multiplying that to get the ETA, so the slow first 10k will influence the ETA right until the end. Unless I change the way I calculate the ETA, that is.

RobertS, is 526560 done for the subproject? It is at 100 digits in the DB.
