I accept the blame for this one ... after all I posted a story which was merely about "false rumors of hypothetical demise". I actually intended to post the "E's not dead yet ... 'e might recover..." Hawking link in the "news which make you go 'wtf'?" thread, but once I realized my mistake, I left it here because it seemed oddly appropriate.

I apologize unreservedly for any distress I may have caused the thread regulars.
