I'm addicted to this:
it's called a 'mitraillette'.
Take a large sandwich, put a burger (or 2, depending on the size of the burger) in it, then fill it up with french fries, add sauce: enjoy!
That's a chip butty with extra burger.

There are pubs in Britain which will sell you a chip butty but very few have them on the menu. A pub which sells sandwiches and chips separately will generally make a chip butty to special order.
why in the hell would someone need a 60 dollars mouse? i do quite well with a 3 dollars logitech made in china by the enslaved children of dissident political prisoners.
The freak who edited my post should go in china, live there for a year and work there and see how the things go, and quit eating the sh!t fed to him by capitalist propaganda... I worked in china for years and our company (german owner) could produce good and cheap things without forcing people to work for nothing and/or stepping out of legality or morality. You americans imagine that if someone does better then you, it must be an accident, or something horrible involved. That is why China owns the most of your debts, and god forbid the day when they will find out your paper is just paper painted green, refuse to work for it, and sell it...

LaurV.
Angry...
The freak who edited my post ...
Oh, I didn't realise that post was edited by someone else. I would have hoped/expected that the perpetrator would have felt the obligation to leave the "last fiddled with" populated so at least we don't get the wrong impression that that was what you actually wrote. Changing titles is one thing, but putting those contentious words in other's postings might be going a bit too far in this case.

Supermods, avoiding that they can.
Master Yoda.

Dammit! For the last time: "Avoid it, supermods can." is the proper way in Yodish! :furious:

:bow::bow::bow:
(it may be the proper Yodish, but not what I wanna say. My reply should have been just "Supermods." and nothing else. Put it in the middle of the sentence hides it, and does not make very clear who was the target of my anger...)

Supermods are not able to edit without a trace. We are, but we rarely do. Maybe once every few months or so. (Dubslow was the last recipient.)

When we do, it is usually an egregious edit, like the one in your post. We suppose we thought you would take it as a silly joke, but it appears that it upset you. For this we sincerely apologize.

Perhaps a thread about manufacturing in China would be a good Soap Box topic? We know we are ignorant in that area.

So, in summary, sometimes posts get ninja edited, but we try to ensure that, in the end, it is exposed.

Again, please accept our apology.

LaurV 2012-11-09 16:16

Accepted.
I generally get upset when someone do unfounded remarks or things related to races, religions, slavery (taking advantage of other humans) etc, and putting such words into my mouth it is beyond my ability to "take it as a silly joke".
The anger was gone after axn's post already (I really appreciate that guy, as he never intervened in a discussion until it was really necessary, and he never told stupid things or blabling around like I often do, and he is one of the few guys here who I would like to meet in real life, he has this talent to always calm me and drag me back to reality, but don't tell him that, i don't want to tickle his pride!).

Having a post mysteriously and untracably edited can be seen as a mark of respect as a forum member, some sort of coming of age I guess. I was thrilled with the picture of Eeyore some time back.

I'm actually a fictitious creation of an over-zealous supermod.

1) some people haven't gotten the joke.
2) some people get that there isn't actually a joke.
3) a few people get that #2 is the joke.
