No questions here. I like having hard copy, even if I then RIP it and play it on the computer jukebox. |
I'm thinking the solution might be a combination of physical and digital.
What about a tiny physical disk that operates by being near a reader, wifi-based, iow? Anyone within about ten feet of the disk can read the content, but it takes up significantly less space. If you decide to sell it second-hand, then you no longer have access to the content unless you have physical access to it. They could have places on the reader for storing these disks, maybe a little pocket that you take them in and out of, with the antenna on the disk somehow set up to always orient in one particular way. |

A preposterous verdict!

That's stupid and vengeful. It will be highly counterproductive if the verdict is allowed to stand. |
No Principled Deed Unpunished

The cases in this article stand in sharp contrast to the outcomes, or lack thereof, for the outing of Valerie Plame. So if government officials do it out of vengeful malice it is AOK. |

I posted about it in the earthquake thread and found an article that said most of the rest of them quit because if they aren't accurate enough they could go through the same persecution. |
