A Polish woman is facing three years in prison after she removed all of her ex-boyfriend's teeth during dental surgery just days after their breakup.
yeah going to your ex-lovers office not the brightest idea ever, especially so close to the split up, having a new one who bases things on appearance isn't the best either. edit: still safer than a urologist might of been. |
In the silent footage from the laundromat's security camera, the dad scoops up the diaper-clad toddler, shoves him head first into the front-loading washer, and shuts the door. He and the mom seem amused at first, but panic quickly sets in when they realize that they can't get the washer door open. It's locked automatically, and the tot is trapped inside as the washer starts to run. (Warning: The video is disturbing).
|
This apparently caused a rash of selling of Facebook stock and created downward pressure on the price which in turn caused more selling. NASDAQ isn’t answering press attempts to comment on the way the whole Facebook stock mess went down. It will probably be a few days before everyone knows whether NASDAQ will try and fix this or if stock traders get burned with major losses.
|

this got me thinking chlorine
Xinhua described the haze as grey-yellow in colour and said it was seen in seven cities in Hubei province, including Wuhan.
this throws me off a bit
But it quoted the environmental protection department saying industrial accidents were not responsible and analysis showed an increase in carbon particles from burning organic matter.
so it might have carbon in it carbon + chlorine -> some type of carbon chloride
"Many farmers choose to burn crops that are left behind in their fields after harvesting," Xinhua said.
nice possible cover up if it smells like grass though what carbon chloride has a smell of fresh cut grass ? carbon dichloride oxide aka. phosgene
Xinhua said straw burning was the cause and denied there had been any industrial accidents in or near Wuhan, after Internet rumours suggested there had been an explosion at a chemical complex northeast of the city.
any industrial use ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phosgene#Uses all signs ( though I'm probably forgetting something) point me towards a phosgene leak. if so it could be neutralized with ammonia from what I read. In that case the human death toll would be in the tens of thousands, at least, and you would have heard about it. I very much doubt that there is a significant amount of phosgene in there either, or mustard gas if you want to fuel your chlorinated CW fantasies. Sounds to me very much like a good old fashioned smog such as we used to have in many cities until smoke control legislation started to take effect. Nothing to see here, move along please. |
The dust from the Gobi tends toward the yellow end of the spectrum.
