Sounds like it tumbled and/or broke apart. At mach 20, that wouldn't take long, and lots of things would be very hot due to the air compression. Of course, such a weapon is tremendously de-stabilising. |

yeah well I read the yahoo article about it and it talked about 13,000 MPH , the problem being you'll need about double that to get the 20,000 + MPH needed for half the equator, according to mach 1 in MPH in google and calculation about mach 27. good luck. PS: that's at ground level mach. |
