Be careful about criricizing American's appreciation of German on this forum. To name but two, Woltman and Mayer might have something to say about it. Was the .... "sucker"? [/quote] I'm not critizing German names (I have one myself). The two names shown have no umlauts so it is easier. Anyway, it's always fun to hear how American news speaker are pronounciating 'Angela Merkel' - and she even has no umlauts in it ... ;). |
