1000336 i:1 = 959856, the first term is smaller than 1000336.
1000336 i:0 = 334280 i:10 334280 should be replacing 1000336 in the list of terminated sequences 334280 i:5156 = 601 Prime, all is done in the database. |
Sorry for taking so long to respond. I have made the suggested change. If you find any others let me know.
If there are any sequences that were once merges but now terminate I suppose we could consider changing them. I am not sure what to mark a sequence if it merges with a lower sequence which then reaches a higher point before terminating. |

The way I had been marking terminations that were merges with a terminated sequence was as a merge with the terminated sequence. After Wolfgang started updating his site again, I asked him which he prefers and he marks those sequence just as straight terminations, so that's how I started marking them.
I called out the couple that merged with 6160 because Wolfgang calls that sequence out as a pretty famous one and I thought that another sequence that merged with one that terminated so many other linked sequences was noteworthy:
At Christmas 2001 Varona terminated the sequence 6160 and 1797[sup]*[/sup] numbers in (1, 10^6] changed their family status.
------------- [sup]*[/sup] I wonder what the top ten for "terminated sequences that other sequences merge into" looks like..... |

Did you check whether the max hight on any of them increased? |

Sorry I have not checked the maximum height in the DB. |

congratulations:smile: |
101844:i2541 = 638288:i10, so 638288 can be marked as "merge".
