I'm only worried about sequences that aren't actually merged or terminated but somehow got dropped of the list. Errors the other way I can find, such as those two merges

Hmmmm.....

The last time I pulled the 2^3 * 3 thread was June 8. At that time, 832314 showed this:
832314 2263. sz 113 2^2 * 3 * 5
Someone moved it up over the hump and down a huge downdriver slope. Since a) no-one noticed the [STRIKE]large[/STRIKE] huge downdriver run, b) I don't see a reservation anywhere, and c) the remaining composite was probably <110 digits (maybe a little more), I would be inclined to chalk this up to bchaffin's workers. What do y'all think?

BTW, just to make it official: 889908:i4 = 832314:i3201 = 2694160.

(Let's face it: that is one huge downdriver run; if anyone had just had that happen, they would have been really happy about it!)

PS. That's the second time we've had that happen. Check the info on 773000!

As re the other two merges mentioned: looks like I had my files get out of sync a little. I broke the list into 3 parts to make it a little easier to pull everything. I had the split files in two places, so I may have let an old file slip through the last time I pulled. (Also, I may have been putting the latest version of the AllSeq file on my FTP sever rather than posting here.....sorry for any mixup, Dubslow!)
Also, my count of open sequences is 9226.
Hmmm, again......my file shows 9227, so I still have a wonky hiding in there somewhere.

That's the first time I noticed Batalov's comment.

Like I said above, I started with an April 09 version of AllSeq.txt from your FTP server, and the changes I've recorded since then are in the post just above Batalov's note.

We should probably try and work out these discrepencies, perhaps perform a diff of some sort. To that end, I've attached a much simplified version of my list of 9225 OE sequences.

PS [OT] Could you add a link to the archived reservations thread in the lead post of the main reservations thread? [/OT]

You are missing 433596

schickel 2012-07-23 07:13

Thanks for that.....I found my error. I still had this line:
644664 5978. sz 116 2^2 * 3 * 7 * 17123

Like I said above, I started with an April 09 version of AllSeq.txt from your FTP server, and the changes I've recorded since then are in the post just above Batalov's note.
(For a minute there, I thought you meant April '09.) I don't remember, was that when Syd switched over to the new server? That would explain why I hadn't uploaded an updated version....
You are missing 433596
I was also missing 433596; but why would I be missing that one???

I've finished the screenscraping of FactorDB (I didn't ask Syd for special permissions so I could only get them in chunks of ~450 per hour over a couple days). Some lines are already dated on arrival. Anyway, here's the snapshot. 9226 seqs. It doesn't have any apparent merges; but of course it may have broken entries.

This sequence has merged to 53310 and is not a part of the currently tracked 9226 sequences. The merge doesn't seem to be recorded in the forum tables, though.

Sequence 215778 is not listed by Wolfgang or Karsten.
This isn't surprising because the merge (215778:i386 = 53310:i229 = 266554) is very early and the max height of 215778 was only 24 digits.
FactorEyes's reservation is the first mention of sequence 215778 that I can find; it may have been a typo.

I looked in my old data and found this merge in long forgotten days. Sorry, but I cannot reconstruct it. A merge lower than C30 will find the basic programm I used to compute my record file.
There is 215788 marked with -53310, what means, that there must be a merge to this sequence...
