Is TPSieve-0.2.1 faster than Newpgen?
 

I was surfing g_w_reynolds geocities website.

i came across tpsieve-0.2.1 for twin sieving. I am wondering on an 64 bit machine if TPsieve is faster than Newpgen. I tried use TPsieve on the current n=33333 current sieve file but it looks like my cpu doesn't have enough memory.

so if some one with 64 bit can confirm by running Newpgen on the current sieve file and than running the same file with TPS and post results.

It's about 10-15 % faster on a Q6600@2,4Ghz

thanks lennart 10-15% is still a huge improvement.

Lennart can you post your findings in details like speed with newpgen speed with 32it tpsieve and 64bit tpsieve and how much more memory it uses.. etc etc.

How can I make from the outputfile of tpsieve a LLR-usable file?

Or better: How can I go on sieving with my pre-sieved newpgen-file with tpsieve and then use it for LLR?
