./mprime error while loading . . . libcurl.so.3
 

Hello, this is on Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) using the mprime binary version from the mersenne.org front page. Is there an easy fix for me or for the software developer?

$ apt-get install libcurl3 was enough for mprime to start working. We will see if that ruins anything else on the machine.

I had this same error with Mandriva 2009. I found an rpm for the 2007 version, installed that to get the libcurl.so.3 and the new mprime v25 works just fine.

I just cranked up a Ubuntu 9.04 machine and installed libcurl3 from here: [URL]http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/i386/libcurl3/download[/URL]
