Can you give us another status on your range? More specifically, a percentage complete or an estimated date of completion. The 5000th place prime is now at n>456K. Even any prime in your range would only be top 5000 for a short period, we'd still like to have the historical record of it in the database.

I've sent a PM to grobie. The 5000th prime is now at n=~458K. If no response within a day, I'll open back up n=460K-461K as a high priority effort.

Been over a day, I would like to volunteer for the effort if there hasn't been a response yet.

You beat me to the punch. I posted that real quick before I went out today but copied the wrong url, a fact that I realized while I was out. I've now corrected it.

To make it official: I have unreserved n=460K-461K so it is now open for reservation as a high priority effort. I noticed that Grobie hasn't been on mersenneforum in over a month now so this is a no-brainer.

I'd only ask that the file be done within a week, which may require 2 or 3 cores. PrimeGrid is dumping primes big time. The 5000th prime could be at n>460K within 2 weeks or less.

Can you send me the latest sieve file for k=3010-3200? I've got the latest file for all of k=3000-3400, but if it's not too hard on your end, it would be much easier for me if I didn't have to split the file myself (since you've done it already). :smile:
