Search default (threads or posts)

Is there any way to make a search default to returning results as posts rather than threads? I have a tendency to forget to check the posts option and then have to wait 60 seconds before I can search again.....

We do not see an option for that.

(And we think most people prefer their results to be in thread form.)

If you can find out a way to have that set per user let us know.

I thought mods didn't have this restriction... Mike?

http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/
No, and I don't see a way to set it forum wide, either, but I only skimmed the docs.....

It works out OK, I just need to remind myself a couple of more times and I'll remember to do it....
I thought mods didn't have this restriction... Mike?
We think the 60 second rule is for everyone. It is set in the control panel as a fixed value and is not part of any usergroup property.

Well, once upon a time (about three versions of the forum software back, when I had mod powers), I could've sworn that I faced no such limits.

how much would it hurt if the 60 second limit was reduced?
how much would it hurt if the 60 second limit was reduced?
We set it to 59 seconds to find out. We hope nothing catches on fire.

I see it's changed to 30 seconds now. Also much better if there was a typo in your input.
