During half-time in the FA Cup Final, I decided to post an update:

195528 is at iteration 7430 (no, there is no typo here!)
at this point with 2^2 * 7.
It reached 12-digit bottom, twice; didn't merge with any deposited sequence; it would be worth-while to check C9C30 database! Frank, do you have the tools for that?

Ye gods! What a monster. I think I'll have to scale back on my dreams of capturing the length leaderboard top spot. :smile:

Check in progress...

Edit: no side-sequence. :sad:

[aol]Me toooo![/aol]

130396 has recently come REALLY close to escaping the driver - it was 2 * 3^2 * p, but the prime was of the wrong form. :cry:

Barring a merge, gentlemen, I present you the longest single sequence.
(In the background, I ran some primality tests on all the factors in the sequence; they checked out.)
Check in progress...

Edit: no side-sequence. :sad:
That's not :sad:. that's :anurag:! That easily surpasses everything that I have listed on my sticky note here. And at <100 digits, there's a good chance of adding even more lines with an escape from 2^2 * 7!

1578 was holding the record at 7260+ for the longest single sequence....
That's not :sad:. that's :anurag:!
That's because I didn't realise it was the longest single sequence. It would still have been the longest single sequence unless there was a merge (as opposed to side-sequence).

<loads of data about 1578>
It seems this, as well as the graphs page, have to have a revamp...
