Ooh, this morning greeted me with a new downdriver record. 139314's downdriver run started with a c131 at index 1724 and ended with a c23 at index 2288 for a total length of 565 lines and a reduction of 108 digits! :toot: Scary fall, isn't it?

The sequence nabbed the downer a few more times to eventually reach c17 before going back up to its current status as a majestic c95=2^2*7^2*c at index 2866 (it's had the 2^2*7 for 513 lines... go away! :flex:).

As a tip: don't post status updates when the guide is likely to change quickly. This will almost certainly change within the next 10 lines.

It still has the 2^4*31 driver in line 1755.

130396 just acquired the downdriver for the third time, this time at the lower height of 91 digits. *hopes this one's a long one*

Just finished my biggest gnfs yet on a c138 from 184416. Unfortunately all it got me was an extra 5 factor on the next line...

And the line after that looks to be another hard c138. If it passes ecm I might be giving up on this sequence. Currently 2^3*3*5^2 at 140 digits. :surrender

escape from 2^4*31?

100436 line 1769, size 136, 2^4*3^2*11*31^2. Let's hope that the 31 now finally dissappears.

Edit: Cofactor is a c125 which seems to need GNFS.
