Why is the C149 from AS 230916 being ECM’d to the t60 level by yoyo@Home? Seems like overkill.

Who has the reservation? Or has someone gone rogue with it again?

In that ECMing to t60 is more work than GNFS on this number, quite. Heck, a t55 is more work than GNFS by quite some margin, and a t50 is somewhat overkill.

No worries, we all learn from our mistakes. Since yoyo is almost 80% complete with t60, let’s just let it finish this job.

Once ECM is done, assuming no factor appears, what would you like to try with this AS? Have you done any poly searches? Or can you run with the full GNFS job? Not sure of your hardware.

Could be a fun and illustrative example for newer users. Or not.

I'm currently running the GNFS job with an ETA hopefully before I leave town the end of this week. I was hoping yoyo might have a hit before I departed which is why I went to a t60.
