That's the best I've heard in the genre since Ace of Bass in 1993.

Interesting concept, but I can't get it to play smoothly, even with P95 and the GPUs at idle. There are sync problems, and lots of herky-jerky break-up.

chappy 2013-11-23 17:14

Hmm, works fine in Waterfox, but Chrome won't change channels for me (the graphic pops up but the video stream doesn't switch.)

IE works fine as well (after I updated flash).

kladner 2013-11-23 17:42

Internet Exploder refuses to admit that I have Flash installed, even right after installing the "IE version".

Firefox is my default browser, but has the problems mentioned above. Maybe this is a bandwidth issue for my connection, though I would expect it to buffer enough to run a little better than it has.

I just heard the song from which NBC's Sunday Night Football takes its theme melody: I Hate Myself for Loving You.

Doug Legacy is a Zydeco composer and performer. I recently encountered this excellent cover of John Prine's "Christmas in Prison."

Doc Watson, Leo Kottke, Chet Atkins

Leo steps out at 2:15.

Unfortunately, this piece with Atkins is rather poorly recorded. The mix and EQ do not do the fancy picking real justice.

And finally, Black Mountain Rag is one of the most dazzling pieces in the picking repertoire. Doc mentions that he brought a fiddle tune to the guitar. The killer run at the end is a trademark bit of flash from the master.

Can't find this song. Please tell me who sings it!

Can someone please tell me who sings the song at 6:51?

I tried Googling the lyrics (sounds like "all/boy these sounds/songs in my head" where the slash means I'm not 100% certain about the lyrics.), but I came up with no results. Also, I can't Shazam it because I don't have an Apple device (My sister won't let me use her iPod Touch).
