Chappy , I must say I love this one.

That's pretty wild. My friends and I have been messing with this song in our "garage band."

(nowhere near the tin can, but still funny)

Tom Lehrer, "National Brotherhood Week"

a tad creepy

A tad creepy indeed! She seems to understand the lyrics, which aren't very nice. The Queen is the villain of the opera, after all. It is certainly in her range, and she does quite well for an eight-year-old. There are only a few uncertain notes.

Nothing wrong with introducing kids to Mozart early.
It never did me any harm. As for this rendition, me and my brothers did a better job when we were 8. D |

I was hearing it in the crib, and probably before. As to you and your brothers capabilities, I wager I could have matched you, though with a Texas accent. I could certainly sing all of Mabel's parts, for example, "Poor Wandering One", in The Pirates of Penzance when I was eight. Drove my older brother crazy, I did. |

Best attempted early in the morning after a lifetime of smoking and drinking! D |
