Here is a song that I had to find and buy the first time I heard it. It was on the radio and then after the song the DJ did not come back on for a minute or more. I had something to do and had to leave. I did not know who sang it. I had to ask at the local record shop the next time I was in. I checked that it was the song that I remembered and bought it instantly. This is the best of the home-made videos that I have found. I don't know of an official video that is not just a taped live version.

I need help. I have this melody stuck in my head, but have not been able to place it. It's for an orchestra, and my mom and I are fairly certain it's Beethoven, but we're not sure.
A "-" is a held note/slur; lowercase is a half beat; underlined means the next higher octave. "|" marks a measure; around ~140 bpm, I think (though obviously that's somewhat conductor dependent).
DO - MI - | SO - - FA | MI RE DO RE | DO - - dodo | RE - - rere | MI - -do remi | fami faso laso lati | DO - -do remi | fami faso laso lati | DO - -do remi | fami faso laso lati | doti dore mi- somi | mire fare redo mido | DO ti - ...
Edit: Nevemind. In a last ditch attempt, I located it as the 4th movement of Beethoven's 5th. |
