*Martine, who lived there but was Basque at heart. It still hurts just to type her name.
Leaving on a jetplane? No it was a cross channel ferry named "Free Enterprise", Would have been the hovercraft, but it was blowing a force 9 gale. Martine took me to see "More" (Pink Floyd) and "Midnight Cowboy". I had recently seen "Magic Christian" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIw26-YP96w |

Well since you refuse to click any links, many posts may seem to make as much sense as cmd. I also admit to being mildly embarrassed by the disproportionate number of posts by myself. In my defence, when I have something constructive to say about a clip, I like to say it. The way one tune leads to another is part of the joy of both music and social intercourse. The latest bout was stimulated by Flatlander's highly topical "Leaving on a jet plane". STOP WHINGING David PS this thread helps me to restrict music clips in other threads to only the mast relevant. |

Didn't think I would ever behave like Jack Nicohlson, but I got a cab to a local pub this morning, and the parking places were chocablock. Ergo my man stops in the road (I've already got the bread ready). White van man behind blows his horn. I'm still sitting in the cab. The scene comes into my mind. I think "Shall I or shan't I?" This is the sort of opportunity that comes once in a lifetime. I get out of the cab and scream "Yeah year, why don't you flash your lights, then we can all see what you got for Christmas". White van man sheepishly passes, (as he could have done initially) tail well concealed between legs. |
I've been loving you too long
