Brings back memories... In case you need a - uh - Black Metal fix, but have overdosed on Dimmu Borgir, the Doctor recommends: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBKbJikbn-E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtSjgovM_K0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmLHnwJzlQ8 |

I need to expand my horizon in this area... I found the info on http://www.bnrmetal.com to be a goldmine for suggested listening. Turned me from a major thrash into a major gothenburg metal fan. I'm obviously getting old, so hopefully I won't be trolling flea markets for Liberace LPs in a few years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJP5MqniJZo |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJP5MqniJZo
Yes, In Flames I have heard (Cloud-connected is one of my favorite songs by them actually). I wanted to go to one of their concerts with a bunch of friends, but neither of us neither had the time nor the money (at the moment), so we didn't go lol. |

Relax. IMHO, in reality all live concerts for all bands are actually performed by a band named Sonic-Cauchy-Blur. Also, after 2 billion years evolution has decided that men should be attracted to girls who do girlie stuff, such as talking about the color pink, unicorns, pink unicorns and what a bitch Amber/Britney/Heather is for buying the same pink shoes 5 minutes later but wearing them first. These specimens do not go to metal concerts or hippie festivals, so save the money to buy Amber/Britney/Heather some blow and try to make her your portable pussy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IT6jRlxGd-Q |

Until today I don't know whether I actually like that kind of music, but I keep catching myself listening to the stuff hoping I can finally make up my mind. Fascinating like a train-wreck?
Re 12 tone or "Well Tempered Klavier" (Cue stone throwing sketch in Life of Brian) I drove 50 miles (a few years ago) to buy a cheap old secondhand electronic organ where each of the 12 tones had their own tunable oscillator. If you thought a "diminished seventh" chord sounded a bit discordant, try tuning C,E,G, Bveryflat in the frequency ratio 4,5,6,7 and enjoy:smile: Duane |

Never thought much of the movie, but still love the theme.

Looked for "I Never Loved a Man" by Aretha (~17) without success. Not to worry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0pjd3jbWiA Loved Chuck Berry's version but couldn't find that either. Happy as a man could be, David |
