Same, along with Master of Puppets.
master of puppets was great, but ride the lightning was by far better, and if justice was mixed right it would of been slightly better than master of puppets.
Agreed. Have you listened to Megadeth's new album, Endgame?
ye,nothing special, but some serious solos in it,and it rips death magnetic to shreds. im going to tone it down a bit,so let me know what you think of this lad Rory Gallagher |

I don't think so. Exhibit A: tracks from MOP have been covered a lot more often, than tracks from AJFA/RTL. (Evidence that musicians prefer MOP). Exhibit B: Twice as many members from www.mersenneforum.org think MOP is better than RTL. Exhibit C: Every song on MOP has a distinct flavor and the solos perfectly match/emphasize this flavor, e.g. we have a 'weird' solo for TTTSNB to match the song's 'weirdness', faster solos for the faster tracks, more melodic solos for the more melodic tracks, etc. Metallica made their first baby steps designing RTL in the same way, but on MOP everything was simply p-e-r-f-e-c-t. AJFA not only had the problem with the bad mixing, but the overall quality was regressing to the mean. I think Ruairí Ó Gallchóbhair sucks big-time compared to e.g. Gearoid Ó More. |
what do you think of thin lizzy?
I liked Sean O'Sykes' work on 1987 Whitesnake album (and "Riot" from Blue Murder), but that's about it. To be honest, I don't really care a lot for Gary Moore. He was just the first Irish dude who popped into my mind and fit the order - Bono O'U2 and Micheal O'Flatley certainly didn't.
id argue the same for RTL.
That's because you're old and senile. Lemme guess, you also don't think that "Somewhere in Time" is the best Iron Maiden album, right?
where did you get those names in irish?surely More for Moore cant be correct.
The usual suspects: http://www.google.com/search?q=Irish+spelling+of+name&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moore_(surname) |
sykes was alright, and O'Sykes doesnt work.
ah some research, good idea.have to say,im very biased when it comes to the irish. |

You mean there is nothing wrong with the names Bono O'U2 and Micheal O'Flatley? Whodathunkit! |
I once worked at a college and overheard a student saying to his friend:
"No. There's Gilbert O'Sullivan and there's Gilbert AND O'Sullivan." |

It appears that you're the Irishman the Englishmen talk about in pubs. Congrats, you're famous! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awD1gtpdWIA |
