If this is in the wrong thread, feel free to move it.
May I make a suggestion?
Please put the port #### in the title of the thread so I know which thread I should be putting these in.
I still can't make heads or tails out of the thread titles the way they are.[/quote]

Unfortunately, we are reporting primes for 3 ports; IB4000, IB5000, and G4000 in the k<=1001 prime reporting thread. So I suspect it will make the thread title too long.

Hints:
(1) The multiplier or the 1st value in the k/n pair is the k-value.
(2) The exponent or the 2nd value in the k/n pair is the n-value.

Therefore with k=465, this one goes in the other prime-reporting thread that shows k<=1001.

To make it easy, just remember that this thread is ONLY for port 8000. Port 9000 goes nowhere and everything else goes in the k<=1001 thread.

Here is what I think I may do: I'll put the ports in the 1st post of the 2 prime-reporting threads.

Edit: I've now added the port(s) to the top line in the 1st post of each prime-reporting thread.

A little tip about this: hover your mouse pointer over a thread on the forum listing and it will show the first bunch of lines in the thread as a tooltip. This should definitely include the line detailing which ports apply to that thread.

Very good. Our first k=1400-2000 prime for n>600K! That's simply amazing how fast we blew through the n=500K-600K range!!
