After all, they're listed in sequential order, and we're processing them in sequential order on the server, so as long as the list is kept up to date often enough then most confirmed primes probably will indeed be at the top of the list at the time they're found. |

Ian or Max, can you check the last 2-3 days worth of primes in the primes.txt file for port 8000 and make sure that all primes have been posted in this thread, shown in post 1 of the drive thread, and submitted at the top-5000 site? If someone hasn't submitted one at top-5000, Max, can you Email them? Sorry...business trip has tied me up almost all hours of each day. Thanks, Gary |

Thanks, Gary[/quote] Okay, I've updated and checked everything and the only one that wasn't reported everywhere it's supposed to be is the following: 1791*2^433299-1 It's listed on the Drive #8 as a known-but-not-yet-refound prime, and was returned a few days ago to IB8000 by PCZ, though it has not yet been reported to this thread. Since it's only a confirmed prime, I'll go ahead and mark it down in the drive thread right now. (PCZ, since this prime is already in the top-5000 you don't have to worry about it now that I've marked it down.) Max  |
OOPS! my bad.
I did receive an email saying i had found that. There was a small flurry of them that morning and one slipped through the net. |
