NPLB Database

I am far from being happy, however, I'm far enough along to start sharing

It's not all working the way it was yet, but, the data is up-to-date (since two days ago)

I don't need bug reports yet, but if the numbers don't appear to be right, then be sure to speak up.

Enjoy what you can see as I stumble through getting the pages to show everything it used to.

We have graphs again thanks to AMDave.
primes by team is being a snot to code but it will get there. (tech talk)
admin page is not working yet either, but everything else should be working fine now.

I have enhanced the teams table so it now contains
team
username
email
email2 (some of you requested automatic email to two different addresses)
just have to get that admin page to work.

Next up is the automating of the updates to the database around midnight for my servers and 8am for Gary's server.

Then you can start asking for features and changes. :big grin:

Nice work! :tu: :big grin: And the database queries seem a lot faster than before, too.

I know that it's not really time to ask for changes yet...but I guess this isn't quite so much of a feature/change request as a bug report. Looking at the Stats by User page, I notice that the last person in the main table is the user "Death", with 452 results. However, if memory serves, we had a number of distinct users in the table before with less than that # of results. It seems as if they just got shaved off the end.

Or does the Stats by User page only show the top x# of users (at least for the time being)?

Everything is fixed now.
Ready for bug reports and feature requests.

Looking into the stats by user page, I see it shows 1-25, the chart uses 31 but I can find 45 distinct users.
Looks like teams.username and results.username are not the same.

Good catch!

edit:
After going into the admin panel, I added all the usernames into teams.username for you.
I'll see if we can come up with a way that gets the names from results.username so we don't have to manually update the teams.username page.

I see I fubared the stats page, give me some time to work thru it.

As far as I can tell, everybody seems to be on the right team. :tu:

Great!
I'll close all trouble tickets with the database.
The daily progress reports are a nice addition to what you used to have, so,
now go out and find some recruits for Free-DC. :big grin:

I'll continue to work on the automation of importing the daily results from here and Gary's server.

Just curious: would it be at all easier if I set Gary's server to run the daily results copy-off script at 1 A.M. CST (i.e. 12 A.M. Arizona time) so that you can pull everything down at the same time? It shouldn't be too hard for me to switch it over--just one little number to change in the crontab.

If you like, then when the .csv files are imported around 1am az time, yours will go in at the same time as mine.
Your choice.

Okay, I'll see about getting it changed over sometime tomorrow. It won't be in time for the next results copy-off, but it will be for the one after that.
