Let me know how many tests are total for this range (9s are ok but not less). Iam still waiting to rebuilt my VM on Saturday for more RAM, I have hit the limit of 32GB at the moment.
The problem is that it will not be more than at most 9 seconds if you run on any FMA system I can think of and AVX systems will not use more than a few seconds longer at n=100K. This means also that you have a testing time of 2.5-3.5 seconds per test at n=50K. I think I'll follow my original plan and test to n=100K and then once the entire conjecture is tested to n=100K I'll switch and prepare a lot of work for BOINC. Can everyone agree on that plan? |
I think it makes sense for BOINC resources to begin at 100k, so you and I agree KEP.

Thank you  Looking forward to be coordinating our efforts in the future but for now my plan are as follows for Riesel base 3: 1. Complete testing all untested k's to n=25000 2. Sieve all k's tested to n=25K for n=25001 to n=100000 3. LLR test the presieved k ranges, for n=25001 to n=100000 4. Coordinate with VBCurtis on the n>100K sieve effort and BOINC work preparation  Maybe PuzzlePeter wants to join the effort for n=25001 to n=100000? Ps. R3 33.0G-43.0G is currently uploading to my drive and should soon be reflected on Gary's website in case anyone wants to help out with the sieving for n=25001 to n=100000  |

Nice  It sure will make you find thousands of primes  |
Sounds good to me!
I'm nearly done sieving 4-6G to 500k, with 1-2G not far behind. 2-4G is almost sieved enough to send the first piece to BOINC. Once 4-6G is complete, I'll begin sieving 6-7G. Where's a GPU-srsieve when you need it? |

Unless you want to take 47G - 60G to 25000. I don't think anyone has those reserved. |

Only 49G-60G to n=25000 is available, I have reserved from 33G to 49G. Tomorrow Gary will get an e-mail with the stats for each range for 33G-43G, wich means that the range 33G-43G will be written as complete soon after. |
I'll pass on the tiny stuff and chip in from 25000 up.

I was gone for a week and a storm caused my computer to shut down, just hours from completing my R3 range. Fortunately it shouldn't be too difficult to complete and merge the final results. Nevertheless it wasn't was I wanted to spend my time doing.
|
R3, 33.0G to 43.0G is complete to n=25K
Resultfiles has just been sent. |
