I assume you mean that these ranges are released and not other ranges for which you have a reservation. Is that correct?
Yes, only 18G-20G, 27G-33G and 8G-13G reservations is released, since they are complete. My remaining R3 reservation for 33G-43G to n=25K is in progress and still reserved. |

I'm going to try this out for R3. I'll take 60000000001 thru 63064644938. If I've been following correctly that will leave 43G thru 60G as unassigned. This will be done on a 4-core Xeon that does not have AVX, so I'm not certain how long this will take. Based upon other results, there should be between 18,000 and 20,000 k remaining when I'm done.

Posts 688-689, I reserved 62G-up. I did complete 63G-up, and did 62.0 to 62.2 to 25k. However, the number of k's remaining for the two runs do not correlate well, so I got worried I did something wrong. I never got around to troubleshooting (or repeating my 63G-up run as a doublecheck), so go ahead with your plan.
If you could report your number of k's remaining from 62.0 to 62.2, I will do the same so I have a sanity check on my run. I think I ran 63.0-up to 100k; I'll post the primes found above 25k when I am next on that machine. |

I'll do from 60G to 63G then. I'll assume that your results for > 63G are good. |

OK I reduced Mike's reservation to k>63G and I have added Mark's reservation for k=60G-63G. Mike, please report your primes and k's remaining for k>63G. Mark, please do not stop and restart your srbase program at any point when running R3. If it stops unexpectedtly, please start over. Best would be to run medium-sized k ranges. We had a lot of problems on your R940 reservation when that happened. We need extreme accuracy on R3. |

Agreed. The problem with R940 was an unplanned power outage. That happens very rarely around here. I will be gone much of December, so hopefully that won't happen while I'm gone. |
