Reserving R3 27G-39G for my Haswell.

gd_barnes 2015-09-15 03:39

My bad here: I am releasing k=16G-20G. I had been running it on an older machine for several months and about 3/4ths of the way through, the hard drive crashed and I can't seem to recover it. Regardless the machine had also stopped running for no particular reason several times and I'm not sure if I trust it. Sorry. I hate leaving big holes and I certainly left a big one here.

Kenneth if you want to take k=16G-20G and remove a k=4G range off of the top of your k=27G-39G reservation, I certainly wouldn't mind. :-)

I'm gonna keep my reservation for 27G-39G for my Haswell and do 16G-20G on my Sandy Bridge, so officially adding 16G-20G to my pool and starting now

Sorry to hear about your harddrive :(

OK thanks. As you finish, can you send them to me in k=4G pieces like you did for k=23G-27G? It takes ~30-40 mins. to download and another 1-2 hours to "massage" the data and update the pages for each k=4G range. I would hate to have to deal with a k=12G or 16G range all at once. :-)

For 16G-20G, I was thinking about sending ranges of 2G

For 27G-39G, I was thinking about sending ranges of 3G

Take care!

That is even better...as long as they are not all at once. :-)

I'm gonna cancel 33G-39G, but keep everything else

Never mind. That post was in a moment of confusion. I'm still gonna do this range. I just for a moment thought that I was going to do it in sets of 2G in stead of sets of 1.5G, however I'm gonna stick with the original plan and run 4 sets of 1.5G

Sorry for any inconvenience
