GMP-ECM on the report page should link to http://ecm.gforge.inria.fr. It currently links to an old version.

It appears Syd has turned off his own workers, thus clogging up the TFs and primality proofs.
|
The converter script is still working, now its checking all entries, some are still squared. When its done the workers will start up and so on, hope its working!

I presume this is why 4788 isn't workiing? BTW, when do you think the script will finish? |
4788 is back! :w00t:
But the graph isn't  |
4788 is back! :w00t:
But the graph isn't
The conversation script is almost done now, now it will read in aliquot sequences up to 1M, all the others up to 10k, to show up on sequence overview page. This may take another day, I dont know exactly. After this all sequences will be checked again, just to make sure everything is correct. Last step is to built up the reverse table for factor tables. Its used to show which form a number belongs to "additional information"-table. Its a little bit slow now, thats due to the extra load from the scripts. Huge numbers to PrP/Prime: Taking prime certificates and automatically testing them turned out to be complex to implement. So I just gave a few users some extra privileges to set numbers PrP/Prime (same place where to assign work). These buttons set the status without checking it! Little glitch: Updated status wont show on same page. I wont correct this. If you want these buttons enabled in your account just PM me. Where bugs may occur: - Parsing expressions: The new parser optimizes (shortens) and sorts the given expressions. Although tested to some level, its complex code and may still be buggy. - The worker system. Thats where I'm working on at the moment. You may also need to update the perl-script from time to time. - Sometimes sequence merges dont show up. - A lot of other places. Some things that may be useful: http://factordb.com/aliquot.php?type=1&aq=4788&big=1 shows big graph for sequence 4788. Set big to 2 or larger for even bigger graphs Functions for automated queries: add &raw=1 to standard query: Supress all html output, results in "short form" http://factordb.com/search.php?query=M34896&raw=1 same with &raw=2: numbers in long form http://factordb.com/search.php?query=M34896&raw=2 &raw=1 also works on queries with variables. All other parameters stay the same. http://factordb.com/search.php?query=Mx&v=x&x=1&EC=1&E=1&Prp=1&P=1&C=1&FF=1&CF=1&of=C&pp=50&raw=1 &raw=1 while showing sequences: No header/footer, but still html tables unless you use "lasttext" or "alltext" as options. automated factor submitting: http://factordb.com/search.php?query=<number>&raw=1&reportfac=<factor> You can use the database for automated queries as you wish, but dont overload it! |
It seems like there are some thing wrong with the
Aliquot sequence 507360 index 588. status (?) digits number C 69 (Show) 1056596470...<69> = 1056596470...<69> but with Alpern's applet it says 105659647025176767935097340948042447533572565177864347382782764382099 is prime |

That's just my guess anyway. (shouldn't it not assume anything?) http://factordb.com/status.html doesn't exist, but is linked at "status (?)" on every factorization page. |

Not asking to have this option yet, but may I ask how you selected those "few"? BTW, I'm the one clearing the tiny composites out of the workqueue. |

You already have. I just picked a few who posted in here and will give it to almost anyone. Its just to prevent strangers from messing with the database. |
Whoever's been working on 507918, STOP IT. I have this sequence RESERVED. If you do any more work on it and I find out who you are, I will be VERY cross with you. And it's lucky that this bug has come up:
Often I find a number divisible by many small factors that I can't submit anything for. Edit: it seems to be fixed and the :poop: has started again... |
