Just want to bring to any regular editor's attention that there has been significant change in the situation regarding the home-prime sequence of 49 (not solved, just more iterates complete) since the page dealing with that was last edited here.
Please see the threads HP49(100)... for HP49 (base 10) only and Home Primes, Reloaded for HP base 10 up to n=10000.

For some condensed pages have a look at RieselPrime.de -> Interests for bases 2, 6 and 10 so far.
I've updated the entry for HP49(10).

The current value for HP49 is in the FactorDB.

Something's up with the db. up/down... no workers.

Will it be back to normal anytime soon?

Might be nice to have a few more DBhelpers.
Something's up with the db. up/down... no workers.

Will it be back to normal anytime soon?
I think it's mostly there now. There are the normal number of local workers connected now, and some of the aliquot sequences we've had trouble with are fixed now.....

schickel 2012-05-14 05:47

Hmmm, looks like Syd may have dropped the aliquot sequence index and rebuilt it. A couple of the sequences I've checked have taken a long time to show up...... Good news as mentioned previously, though, a couple of the broken ones have been fixed.

Looks like I'll have to do a complete download to force everything to get rebuilt.

After the crash (see the thread with sequence 4788) we tried to confront the 26 sequences for which we have backups (some of them reserved by us and actively hard working on them :D, the rest just backed up out of curiosity, we closely watch/follow them).

We could do this for 11 of them, for which the digits matched one by one, up to the last term inclusive, we were surprised one sequence of them advanced one term compared with our backup. The added term is also correct.

For the other sequences we could not download the elves files, we run in a new limitation, called "too many resources used by your IP", that is: Page requests: 62, IDs created: 0 (zero), Database queries: 793049 (?!?!).

We will do that the following hours/days, whenever the DB will allow. Mention we were legally logged in, and we are not a "cmd style" contributor... therefore we can't really understand that restriction for us...

I can download 3600+ sequences in about 18 hours without any limit overruns.

Can you please tell me when the workers will be back? There are over 1000 PRPs <300 digits.

That proved to be right! Today I ran through all 26 sequences and no limit popped up. I believe that time it was just after cleaning break, and he indeed rebuilt the sequences when I "visited" them "for the first time".

Sequence 73962 is broken in the DB.

schickel 2012-05-19 07:56

116424 is broken now.
