Hmmm.... seems there seems to be that "double-check primality" and "double-check sequence" buttons would be needed for registered users?
|
878560 is another broken Aliquot sequence -- it thinks 531754410288614879 is prime.
Also 363270. |
I turned up some more problem sequences when I pulled the latest status.
There seem to be these that have problems:
75402 i2501 has a composite marked as prime 174888 i142->i143 (found by bchaffin) 363270 i261->i262 (found by bchaffin) 459980 i422->i423 700128 i230->i231 722430 i214 has a composite marked as prime 864792 i250->i251
Additionally, I don't find any problem with 878560 (noted by bhcaffin), at least with a quick check. I'll run a more thorough test on it to check..... |
Aliqueit likes the db .elf file, here... Is something more than that needed?
I don't know....I was just responding to an error report earlier by bchaffin. Maybe it fixed itself?
First I´ll check if the db runs stable without overloading the server. When this is done the scan buttons will be activated again.
Could you use Dario Alpern's ecm applet from http://www.alpertron.com.ar/ECM.HTM or something like that for the scan buttons. That would do the work on the requesters system. Chris K |
Why am I getting a "you have reached the hourly limit of 3000 ID's created" message even though I am logged in? It shouldn't say that.
|
another problem I noticed is
http://factordb.com/index.php?id=1100000000489773674 , a 638 digits prp, cert uploaded the 16 february( by me) and verified, but still considered as a prp |
I have that problem too. When I was trying to prove a 400+ digit prime, I uploaded the cert and it said it was successfully processed (it even said "P" beside it), but it didn't say "Proven by Certificate".

The aliquot sequence 979884 is also having an issue at index 331 to 332:
331 33 (show) 180539934906725323309899308491200<33> = 2^6 · 3^2 · 5^2 · 17 · 1594674553<10> · 462476643092266223<18> The final 18 digit number is not prime: http://factorization.ath.cx/index.php?id=462476643092266223 Oddly, this link doesn't lead to a consistent value for me - Sometimes I get the number = itself and the other times I get the factorization into two primes. Its like there are two entries that it can choose from. In any case the aliquot sequence has the wrong one. |
Home prime data out of date
Kind of rushed in library here, so probably there is a better thread than this one (apologies). Just want to bring to any regular editor's attention that there has been significant change in the situation regarding the home-prime sequence of 49 (not solved, just more iterates complete) since the page dealing with that was last edited here. If anybody with time on his/her hands for some simple editing would like to post the new status of the problem, that up-to-date info can be found (and easily checked) at www.worldofnumbers.com (It is called topic 1, but you will have to go down the main page to find it, because the site primarily concerns palindromes). Thanks. I will do myself some day if it remains.
